About the Shoot

This shoot was executed in my bedroom in front of a basic black sheet. I wanted a dramatic blacked out background. The bounce flash kept me illuminated but kept the background dark and then I deepened the shadows and blacks in post. This was my first time trying a diy “studio style” shoot so it took quite a bit of trial and error but I was so happy with the results!

Photoshoot Details:

- Canon Rebel T5i + 50mm lens (old equipment)

- Neewer TT560 Speedlight + room ceiling lighting

- ISO400, f/2.8, 1/250

- Edited in Lightroom Classic
